Good location,reasonable price,decent food.
Rooms need to be updated.

This is a decent place to stay, not fancy but clean and reasonably priced. Good location. House Maid Lena is very pleasant. Restaurant has good Diner type food. Right on Long Island sound. A good stop over place. We have been there twice and will go there again. Frequent visitors to Ct. ...read more

Ocean view, friendly restaurant staff, good food.
Cranky late-night staff.

Beautiful location! I woke up in the morning and went for a walk on the beach, followed by fresh seafood in the hotel restaurant. The room was
freezing upon arrival, but warmed up within a couple of hours. Free wireless worked great. ...read more

I was able to look out from the balcony to view the long island sound.

If you are
looking for a quick getaway to share some time together this is the place to go. The rates were good and there was a restaurant and bar right down stairs.

Location fantastic waterfront, restaurant superb.
No cable TV -- Fox news.

Lovely old hotel on Long Island Sound w/ its own sandy beach, a great family hotel b/c the restaurant/bar has terrific food. New outside beach bar and patio.

This lovely little hotel right on the CT shore, so clean, with a wonderfully quaint little restaurant was a super choice for our family.
Nothing.

A quaint New England waterfront hotel with a cute little restaurant (wonderful blueberry pancakes) sits in a quiet neighborhood on Lordship's craggy coast. The staff was very friendly, very polite, the hotel very clean and our rooms were freshened every day. ...read more

The Beach, restaurant and out side bar where great. So where the nightly ice cream cones.
The room could have been cleaner.

Having the hotel & restaurant on the beach was perfect. The location in Lordship Stratford has always been a favorite of mine.
But the room could have been cleaner. Looks like they are in the middle of renovations, I hope the rooms will be renovated. Will most likely stay again next year. ...read more
